Our plans to expand Watergate School and redevelop Dumps Adventure Playground

We are consulting on the design proposals for a new building at Watergate School on Lushington Road, SE6 3WG. The expansion of the school will increase the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) provision for primary school aged children in the borough, which is one of Lewisham Council’s key priorities. 

These proposals will also include designs for the redevelopment and improvement of the outdoor sport and play facilities at the Dumps Adventure Playground on Oakview Road.

How to give your views

We are holding two drop-in consultation events:

Time: 4 – 7.30pm

Location: Watergate School, Lushington Rd, SE6 3WG

Date: Saturday 28 October 2023

Time: 12 noon – 2pm  

Location: Dumps Adventure Playground, 14 Oakview Rd, SE6 3QF

Anyone who has an interest.  

What will happen at the event

The event will provide you with an opportunity to find out about Watergate School, and view and comment on the current building and outdoor proposals.
