Friends' groups for parks in the borough

What friends' groups do

The groups provide support with the day-to-day management of our parks and open spaces. Support includes:

• development of specialist areas (for example, conservation)

• reporting problems

• organising events in or associated with the park

• litter clearance days

• promotion of the park

• liaising with the contractor staff.
