Examples of previously funded projects

We gave:

  • £1,940 to Carers Lewisham to give IT training for Carers. The training will include how to use Microsoft Office applications as well as tips and advice on how to access and use online services. If you’d like to take part in the training, please call 020 8699 8686 or email info@carerslewisham.org.uk
  • £1,900 to Young Lewisham to install new security roller shutters, improving the security of their premises as workshops had previously been burgled.
  • £2,500 to Bloom Bakery to run baking basics courses for unemployed people. The free course is on offer to anyone in Perry Vale who is currently out of work and would like to develop new skills or boost their confidence to move towards work. This year, 14 people have been trained and an intermediate group are donating baked goods to Lewisham Carers’ Centre for their carers’ coffee mornings.
