Lewisham Council - Unitary Development Plan

Unitary Development Plan

The Lewisham Unitary Development Plan or UDP has now been superseded and no longer forms part of Lewisham's development plan.

The UDP should not be used in decision making. Anyone considering new development in the borough that requires planning permission (for example, a new housing development, a conversion of a house to flats, the change of use of a shop) should consult the Local Development Framework and take note of the policies that will affect our decision on your planning application.

Hard copies of the UDP are available:

  • for inspection at all libraries
  • for inspection or purchase from our office (£10 for local businesses and residents, £35 for others. Prices include post and packaging).
