We are purchasing former Council properties to house families on our housing waiting list, through our Right to Buyback programme.
With around 10,000 families on our housing waiting list, we are always looking for new ways to increase the supply of social housing in Lewisham. Our Right to Buyback programme aims to help tackle the housing crisis by purchasing former Council properties, using funding from the Mayor of London.
Selling your property to the Council can offer greater security and certainty than selling on the private market and will help provide new homes for those families most in need.
