Chewing gum litter: where do you stick yours?

Lewisham Council is working with the Chewing Gum Action Group in March on a national campaign to raise awareness about the need to reduce the amount of used chewing gum that is dropped on the streets of Lewisham.

Older people invited to discuss important issues

Three upcoming events will give older people in Lewisham the chance to meet others and get advice on issues that are important to them.

New move to increase recycling

Until the end of February, recycling advisors will visit 30,000 homes on Lewisham’s housing estates and blocks of flats, to help and encourage residents to recycle more.
