Children’s centres are places where families can access a range of services and information.

They can access help from teams of health, education and social care professionals.

Services at children's centres

Children and families can access the following services at children's centres across the borough:

  • family support and parental outreach
  • advice on early years education and childcare
  • child and family health services
  • links to JobCentre Plus, children’s information services and schools.

Location of children's centres

Children's centres are distributed across four service areas in the borough. Each service area has one or more children's centre. You can use any of the children's centres across the borough. See below for a list of sites delivering Children's Centre services in and around the borough.

Executive Director for Children and Young People to leave Lewisham in summer

Lewisham’s Executive Director for Children and Young People, Frankie Sulke has announced that she is to leave the Council’s employment after 14 successful years.

Lewisham Council awards new £35m school meals contract

The new contract was awarded to Chartwells, which will see the borough’s pupils continue to get high quality, tasty and nutritious school meals.
