Adult education

Learning new skills can help your prospects at work and increase your employability skills or perhaps help you to prepare for a change of career.

All of our courses will help you to expand your knowledge and confidence as well as introducing you to new ideas and challenges.

Our record at helping our learners reach their goals is something to be proud of. Our success rates are significantly higher than average, placing Community Education Lewisham in the top 25% of adult education providers nationally.

We offer free internet access at our sites to everyone enrolled with us and there are computers available for learners to use in all of our centre cafes.

We also have a website for learners and tutors here you can communicate with your tutor and fellow learners, download resources for your course and continue your learning outside of the classroom at a time that suits you.

Our mission is to improve the lives of people in Lewisham through providing high quality learning. To support this we provide part time education courses to approximately 3000 adult learners. We have a wide variety of subjects on offer including qualifications in English, Maths and Childcare alongside practical courses in Arts, Crafts and Design.
