This is the largest green space in the borough, covering 98 hectares, with large areas of ancient woodland ideal for informal woodland walks.
The park is an important wildlife site and it also makes up part of the South East London Green Chain Walk and the regional Capital Ring.
Find out about major improvement plans that are being developed for the park and key buildings following the announcement of a £4.9m Parks for People funding award from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery in 2014.

The golf course is an 18 hole (par 69) municipal pay and play course. The mansion house (a Grade II listed building) currently houses the golf clubhouse. You can buy 8 and 9 hole tickets at the pro shop and there's a PGA professional at the course for tuition. To find out more and to make advance bookings call 020 8650 2292 or visit Glendale Golf.
There are also tennis courts and several football pitches in the park.
