Free information and advice
All Lewisham residents (aged 16+) can get information and advice on learning and work. Our information and advice workers will help you to find suitable training courses, give you information on careers, advise on writing a CV and help you to fill in application forms and prepare for interview.
Free careers guidance service
We'll give you confidential, impartial advice on your training and employment options, to help you to improve your employment situation.
Job search resources
If you are looking for a job, you can use our computers (with internat), newspapers and vacancy bulletins, phone, fax and photocopier.
Recruitment office
Our Jobnet team of experienced, professional recruitment officers will help you to find the position that you want. We work with employers to find jobs for Lewisham residents.
Extra help for older people, single parents and IB claimants
We know that some people find it more difficult to get back into work. Our Opening Doors 2 Work project provides extra help if you are:
- a lone parent
- or 50 years old or older
- or on Incapacity Benefit
