How do I register?

Between December and August each year you can register to vote at any time by completing the registration form below. This form can also be used if you change your address within the London Borough of Lewisham.

You must sign and send the completed form to us at the address below.

During September and November each year an annual canvass takes place. During this period you cannot register to vote using the form above. The purpose of the annual canvass is to ensure that the electoral register is accurate and up to date. All households will be sent a voter registration form and every household must respond during the annual canvass, even if you have recently registered. Failure to return a voter registration form during the annual canvass could lead to a fine of up to £1,000.
