Lewisham Council - Catford town centre area action plan

Catford town centre local plan

The Catford town centre local plan was withdrawn from Examination on Thursday 19 December 2013.

The main reason for withdrawal was that Transport for London (TfL), in consultation with the Council wanted to look again at their long standing A205 road improvement proposals. These road proposals involved relocating the A205 to the rear of Laurence House and the Catford town centre local plan no longer supported this approach.

The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) in the document below give more detail about the reason for withdrawal and the implications of this with regard to the future of Catford.

The withdrawal was made under Section 22 (1) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 (as amended).
