Lewisham Council - Adult education enrolment

How to enrol on adult education courses

You can enrol on a course at any time up to three weeks after the start date as long as there are still spaces.

Enrolments after this are not allowed as our courses are designed with clear aims and objectives and it is important that all learners are given an equal opportunity to achieve.

Enrol over the phone

You can enrol with us over the phone by calling 020 8314 6959 Monday to Thursday 10am–4pm if you are paying by credit or debit card.

If you would like to claim a concessionary or reduced fee you will need to enrol in person at one of our centres with the relevant documentary evidence.

There is a 1.9% surcharge for credit card payments. You cannot enrol by telephone for courses requiring a pre-course assessment.

Enrol in person at an adult learning centre

You can enrol at any of our three main adult education centres, even if it's not the centre where your course will be held.

When you enrol with us you will need to provide proof of identity. Documents we accept include:

  • passport
  • driving licence
  • national ID card
  • birth or adoption certificate
  • National Insurance card
  • credit or debit card
  • recent utility bills or bank statements.
