Lewisham Council - Adult education enrolment

How to enrol on adult education courses

You can enrol on a course up to three weeks after the start date if spaces are available.

Enrol online or by phone

  • You can enrol online for most courses by visiting the course page and clicking the ‘enrol now’ button.
  • You can enrol over the phone by calling 020 8314 6959 Monday to Thursday 10am–4pm.
  • If you enrol online or by phone you will need to pay by debit or credit card.
  • If your course requires a pre-course assessment, you must enrol in person.

Enrol in person

You can enrol at any of our three main adult education centres, even if it's not the centre where your course will be held.

When you enrol, you will need to provide proof of identity. We accept the following documents:

  • passport
  • driving licence
  • national ID card
  • birth or adoption certificate
  • National Insurance card
  • credit or debit card
  • recent utility bills or bank statements.

You can print out and complete the form below to take with you to enrol. Find centre locations and opening times.

Concessionary rates

If you are eligible for the concessionary rate, you will need to enrol in person at one of our learning centres and bring your supporting evidence with you.

Alternatively you can enrol online or by phone, but you will need to pay the full course price and claim a refund in person.

Pre-course assessments

If you are studying for an accredited course such as child care, ESOL or maths and English GCSEs, you will need to complete a pre-course assessment before you can enrol. Find out how to book a pre-course assessment.
