Ladywell Fields

Ladywell Fields runs between Catford and Ladywell and is around a mile long. The park is made up of of three fields with a river running through them.

The park is a key cycling and walking route. It is popular with joggers and dog walkers.

Northern field 

In the northern field, the river has been diverted to create a natural space. River dipping and paddling is popular in the summer months.

Middle and southern fields

In the middle and southern fields, the river has been opened up for use so you can see the wildlife living here. If you're lucky you may see the resident kingfishers and heron.

  • bowling green

  • cycle route (part of the Waterlink Way)
  • the friends of park group
  • water pumps
  • river
  • nature reserve
  • tennis courts
  • toilets – including disabled facilities – open seven days a week during café opening hours.

News

New drinking water fountains for two of our parks

Thirsty visitors to Ladywell Fields can now take a drink or refill their water bottles free of charge at a brand new water fountain. Beckenham Place Park will soon be getting its own fountain too.
