Hatcham Gardens

Hatcham Gardens in New Cross re-opened in 2010 after an overhaul which planted 50 Albizia trees, laid a new ground surface, and installed extra furniture and a drinking fountain.

Play equipment includes a large sandpit, chess tables, large benches and a table tennis table.

Hatcham Gardens is part of the North Lewisham Links project. The new design was drawn up after consultation with local people including children at the local Kender Primary School, which borders Hatcham Gardens.
