Conditions of entry for People's Day

People's Day is held at Mountsfield Park. The following conditions of entry are in place to ensure that everyone has a fun, safe and enjoyable day.

Gates open at 12 noon and the festival finishes at 8pm.

  1. No dogs except guide dogs are allowed into the park between 6am and 12 midnight on the day of the festival.
  2. No glass bottles can be brought into the festival.
  3. No knives or weapons of any kind. Weapons will be immediately confiscated on discovery and anyone found with a knife will be arrested.
  4. No fireworks. Immediate confiscation on discovery.
  5. We may search you when you enter the site.
  6. No illegal substances. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be reported to the police.
  7. Antisocial behaviour or intimidation will not be tolerated. Perpetrators may be removed from the event and police will be called if necessary.
  8. Between 7.30pm and 8pm the only entrance to the event will be via George Lane.
  9. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.
  10. Overt filming and CCTV will be in operation.
  11. Security staff will be filming queues to monitor crowd density for your safety.
  12. No drones to be brought into or flown over the festival site.
  13. No BBQs.
