Conditions of entry for People's Day

Read the entry conditions for People’s Day 2018. 

  1. Gates open at 12 noon on George Lane, Carswell Road and Brownhill Road.
  2. Gates close for entry at 7.30pm on Carswell Road and Brownhill Road.
    Between 7.30pm and 8pm the last and only entrance to the event will be via George Lane. You cannot enter the event after 8pm. 
  3. No dogs, except assistance dogs, are allowed into the park between 6am and 12 midnight on the day of the festival.
  4. No glass bottles can be brought into the festival.
  5. No knives or weapons of any kind. Weapons will be immediately confiscated on discovery and anyone found with a knife will be arrested.
  6. No fireworks. Immediate confiscation on discovery.
  7. Bags and people will be searched on entry to the site.
  8. No illegal substances. Anyone found in possession of illegal substances will be reported to the police.
  9. Antisocial behaviour or intimidation will not be tolerated. Perpetrators may be removed from the event and police will be called if necessary.
  10. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission.
  11. Overt filming and CCTV will be in operation.
  12. Security staff will be filming queues to monitor crowd density for your safety.
  13. No drones to be brought into or flown over the festival site.
  14. No BBQs, except for food traders.
