The Local Development Framework or LDF is the name given to the planning documents which collectively deliver the planning strategy and policies for Lewisham.
The Core Strategy is the key LDF document (adopted 29 June 2011) and forms the statutory development plan for Lewisham. As we adopt each LDF document, they will eventually replace our Unitary Development Plan, which was adopted in 2004.
The policy documents that make up Lewisham's LDF are at different stages of production. You can find out more by following the links above. The LDF is also made up of documents which set out processes, context and evidence, explain how progress will be monitored and how the Council will involve the local community.
