Lewisham Council - Library reservations

Library reservations

Members of our libraries can reserve an item if it is on loan or at another branch. Our online catalogue lists items from other authorities within the London Libraries Consortium. These items can also be reserved. We will tell you when your reservation is ready for collection.

What you can reserve

  • You can reserve books, language courses, DVDs and music CDs.

What you pay

  • Adults pay 50p per item (up to two items at any time).
  • Under 14s do not pay for reservations.

How to reserve a library item

You can reserve items by telephone, at your local library or online.

You will need your library barcode number and PIN. To get your PIN contact your local library.
