Reporting a missing vehicle that is untaxed
If your missing vehicle was untaxed, it may have been removed by us.
We can remove vehicles that are untaxed but not abandoned using devolved DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency) powers. With these powers, we can remove vehicles that are on a public road with road tax that is at least two months and one day out of date.
On the 1 October 2014 changes were made by the DVLA and the paper tax disc is no longer required to be displayed on a vehicle. You can visit GOV.UK to check if a vehicle is taxed.
If you think your vehicle has been stolen
If you think your vehicle may have been stolen, please report this to the police by calling 101.
