Higher education

Lewisham is home to two higher education institutions: Goldsmiths - University of London and Laban.

Goldsmiths, University of London

Founded in 1891, Goldsmiths has been part of the University of London since 1904. It has 15 academic departments with smaller centres and units, which interact to provide a unique approach to creative, cultural and social subjects.

Laban

Laban is a leading European school for contemporary dance. It is part of the Trinity Laban higher education institution, which was formed by the merger of the Trinity College of Music and Laban.

They offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, diplomas and certificates in dance theatre, scenography and dance science.
