Check that you have enough information to choose the right course for you. You can make a booking in person at any centre. Opening times can be found on page two of the prospectus.

You can generally join any course that does not have an exam up to three weeks after enrolment.

Contact any of the main centres for details.

Interviews

Some courses require an interview or assessment before you can enrol. Those that have this requirement are marked in the prospectus with a PCA symbol. If you choose one of these courses the assessment dates are listed under the subject area.

How much will it cost?

Fees for each course are shown within the subject listings. There are three categories of fees:

Please see page 8 of the prospectus for details of Level 2 and 3 qualifications.

Learner Support Fund

We receive an allocation from the Skills Funding Agency to assist learners who wish to attend courses that will lead to a qualification or improve their chances of employment.

The purpose of the Learner Support Fund is to provide financial help to learners whose access to, or completion of, education might be inhibited by financial considerations. These funds can assist learners with certain costs attached to their course. Further information and application forms are available from centre offices or by contacting Community Education Lewisham - details below.

Pay by instalments

Fees for courses of 20 weeks or more can be paid by termly instalments.

The first instalment is to be paid when you enrol and will be for the first term’s tuition fee plus any other fees such as examination fee where applicable.

Subsequent instalments need to be paid before the start of each term as necessary. Full details, including instalment dates, will be given when we process the initial enrolment.

Our course information sheets contain detailed information, including the level and content of the course and any extra materials or textbooks you may need.
