Manor Park – what’s in a name?

We recently consulted with residents in the borough about proposals to change the name of Manor Park in order to avoid confusion with nearby Manor House Gardens. A total of 292 responses were received over a four week period, with 54% in favour of keeping the original name and 46% in favour of changing it.

As a result of this consultation, we will not be changing the name of Manor Park. However, we intend to work closely with user groups in future to promote both parks within the local and wider community and celebrate their differences.
