Let’s light up the sky on Saturday 3 November at 8pm.
Blackheath Fireworks is one of the biggest free community events in the capital and is now attracting up to 100,000 people each year. This year’s event will be held on 3 November at 8pm. We have funfair rides starting from 4pm and our bar and food stalls will be open from 5pm.
Whilst there are no admission charges to this fantastic event there are a number of costs involved in welcoming visitors from all over London and beyond.
Donate to keep Blackheath Fireworks spectacular
By cash – donate on the night to one of our volunteer Blackheath Bucket Brigade.
Stay safe
Leave fireworks, sparklers and wish lanterns at home. Do not bring valuables to the site and please keep children close to you. Please listen for and follow any instructions given by site personnel.
Protect your animals
Although fireworks are fun for us, they are not fun for animals. Most animals get very scared by the lights and noise, so you should take precautions when firework displays are under way.
Battersea Dogs Home's advice is to keep your pets indoors. Some pets may try to run away during fireworks so please make sure that pets are tagged and/or so that they can be identified should they run away during fireworks. For information about free tag engraving and dog microchipping events please see the animal welfare page.
