Blackheath Fireworks prize draw terms and conditions

  1. The Blackheath Fireworks prize draw is promoted by Lewisham Council to raise funds for Blackheath Fireworks 2013.

  2. One entry into the draw costs £5. Multiple entries are permitted.

  3. Tickets can be paid for by using a credit or debit card.

  4. The closing date for the draw is 28 October 2013 at 5pm. Donations can be accepted on the website after that date but you will not be entered into the draw.

  5. The draw will take place on 28 October 2013 at 5pm at Lewisham Council, Laurence House, Catford SE6 4RU.

  6. The winners will be the first 16 valid entries randomly selected from all entries received by the closing date.

  7. The results of the draw are final and communication about them will not be entered into.

  8. Winners will be notified by phone and/or email no later than 29 October 2013.

  9. There is one first prize for one person and five guests to start the display, receive a behind the scenes tour of the firing zone and watch the display from a unique vantage point next to the firing zone. There are 15 runner up prizes of four wristbands allowing entry into a designated VIP viewing area.

  10. Prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable and, except where expressly stated, no cash alternative will be available.

  11. If the display is cancelled due to inclement weather conditions no refunds will be made.

  12. This draw is open to individuals resident in Great Britain aged 16 years or over. Any person found to be under 16 years of age automatically forfeits the right to any prize. Proof of identity and age may be requested.

  13. Under-16s can attend as part of the winner or runner up packages or in the VIP viewing area. Each winning group must include one person aged over 18.

  14. The draw is not open to those actively involved in the management of the draw.

  16. Lewisham Council reserves the right to award any prizes not claimed by Friday 1 November 2013 to an alternative winner.

  17. To the extent permitted by law, Lewisham Council excludes any liability for loss or damage incurred by any winner in connection with or arising from the use of the prizes or participation in the draw.
