There are many dance opportunities in Lewisham from the flagship Laban in Deptford's Creekside, to the charming Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley.

Laban
Laban’s award-winning building offers world class contemporary dance, connecting people to exhilarating possibilities. Training for creative young people 13 to 16 years, is just one recent initiative. Laban also hosts the annual Schools’ Dance Showcase.
Broadway Theatre
Classical ballet is regularly brought to the Broadway Theatre by the Moscow Ballet company. The Broadway also showcases annual performances from local dance schools and academies.
The Albany
Dance performances at The Albany reflect the diversity and creativity of London ranging from ground breaking hip hop theatre to world fusion styles.
Young people
For ongoing programmes that give children and young people the opportunity to learn and share dance skills there are inspirational organisations such as Second Wave, Irie and Montage. Goldsmiths College offers many academic and professional development courses. Montage also provide community classes for adults of all ages and abilities.
There are Latin nights at the Rivoli Ballroom, and Mandacaru have classes in all Latin styles for both adults and children at the Horniman Museum, where the offer also includes dances from around the world.
