Assembly Fund

The Assembly has agreed to fund the following projects from the 2012-13 Assembly Fund:

  • Trees £4,934
  • Dalmain pen £500
  • Association Pastoral Care in Mental Health drop-ins £500
  • Acorn after school club Christmas party £581
  • St Saviour’s Edible Garden £500
  • Blythe Hill Festival 2013 £500
  • EPSP day trip £298
  • Dalmain Athletic Girls FC £490
  • Crofton Park Community Library event equipment £200
  • Honor Oak Residents Association parking survey £100
  • Ackroyd Centre improvements £597
  • Neighbourhood Forum community cohesion working group £1,500

The Assembly has agreed to fund the following projects from the 2010–12 Assembly Fund:

  • Community and school recycling project – £984
  • Replenishment of street planters and hanging baskets – £4,366
  • Youth devolved fund (Library internet cafe, homework club, and school art gallery; community garden; and Walk in Space) – £10,000
  • Ackroyd volunteers project – £1,770
  • Blythe Hill Fields Festival – £1,000
  • Dalmain community project – £1,500
  • Brockley Max Festival – £1,515
  • Elder persons support project – £1,480
  • Take Flight theatre school – £1,900
  • Honor Oak station planters – £835
  • Crofton Park community carnival – £3,400
  • Crofton Park library development and café – £15,000.

Mayor’s Fund

Mayor and Cabinet have agreed the following projects recommended by the assembly for funding from the £50,000 Mayor's Fund for 2008–10:

  • tree replacement programme and wildflower meadow in Blythe Hill Fields – £17,025
  • Crofton Park youth forum and ring fenced project money for young people’s chosen project – ‘Walk in Space’ – £14,475
  • St Hilda's Church - creation of community website – £5,000
  • purchase and installation of three community notice boards – £10,000
  • Healthy Brockley – wellbeing workshops – £3,500.

Locality Fund

Projects funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2010–11:

  • Crofton Park Transport user group start-up costs – £500
  • Blythe Hill Fields Festival – £800
  • Funded trips and activities for members of the Elder Persons Support Project – £2,000
  • Brockley Max festival 2011 – £500
  • YLP Job Club, JUMP – £1,000
  • Walk In Space creative artist and sports coaching – £1,000
  • Dalmain School sporting activities – £1,200
  • Floral displays in the ward – £3,000.

Projects funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2009–10:

  • street bench for shoppers by the Chandos pub – £170
  • Blythe Hill Fields Festival 2010 – £1,000
  • community mosaic project at Crofton Park station – £5,000
  • St Saviour’s church community garden – £300
  • floral displays in the ward – £3,550.

Projects funded from the £10,000 Locality Fund for 2008–09

  • sensory reading garden at Crofton Park Library – £3,000
  • Blythe Hill Fields Festival – £1,400 (The Blythe Hill Fields User Group)
  • community notice board in Honor Oak Park – £600 (HOPAG)
  • flower planters and flower baskets for Brockley Road, Brockley Rise – £2,500
  • Christmas lights for Crofton Park ward – £2,500.
