The Cleansing Department are responsible for market refuse cleansing. The three markets are:
- Lewisham - cleaning is covered 7 days a week 9am-7.30pm
- Deptford - covered Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9am-7.30pm
- Catford - covered Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am-11am and 5.30pm-7.30pm.
