The Cleansing Department are responsible for market refuse cleansing. The three markets are:
- Lewisham - cleaning is covered seven days a week 9am - 7.30pm
- Deptford - covered Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 9am - 7.30pm
- Catford - covered Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9am - 11am and 5.30pm - 7.30pm.
