Streetworks, roadworks, skips, scaffolds, hoardings, advertising boards and building materials that block the pavement are all considered to be causing an obstruction to pedestrians.

- a skip or scaffolding is obstructing the pavement
- no barriers around streetworks/roadworks and building work is affecting pedestrian safety
- building materials are blocking the pavement
- an advertising board is blocking the pavement
- banners or bunting is causing an obstruction.

You can report an obstruction on the road or pavement either by phoning CallPoint on 020 8314 7171 or using the online Street Fault Report Form.
What information does the Council require from me?
We require as much of the following information as possible to respond to your report:
- street name and area
- location on street, i.e. is it near a house number or road junction?
- description and detail of the obstruction
- your name and a contact number
- date and approximate time when you saw the obstruction
- persons or vehicle registration responsible for the obstruction (if known).
