Lewisham Council has teamed up with RingGo, established providers of phone payment services, to bring a new service for people parking in the borough.
Instead of using coins in Council car parks or on the street pay and display bays, drivers will have the option of paying for their parking by debit or credit card over the phone.
Users of the service will have the advantage of topping up their parking time by mobile phone and getting text reminders of when their paid-for time is about to expire.
Where you can use the phone payment service
The scheme will start in Lewisham town centre and Blackheath areas and full details will be displayed on payment machines.
