Applying for a disabled parking bay

Disabled people (drivers or passengers) can apply for a Blue Badge that allows them to park their vehicles on the street close to where they are going. Blue Badge holders in Lewisham can also apply to have an informal disabled parking bay near their home.

Informal disabled parking bays

Lewisham Council has recently reviewed its policy with regard to the provision of disabled parking bays. We may now provide informal (unenforceable) disabled parking bays to Blue Badge Holders who have severe walking difficulties.
