Controlled parking zone (CPZ) consultations

Where there have been serious problems, Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ) have already helped some neighbourhoods manage parking problems. 

The Council will only introduce a CPZ where it is supported by a majority of local people. If there is majority support for a CPZ a detailed consultation will be carried out. If responses do not show majority support then other suggestions will be looked at. 

Every CPZ is reviewed once some time has passed to see how the restrictions operate in practice.
