Lewisham has launched its own Ladder Safety Campaign to raise awareness of the dangers when using ladders and how to use them correctly.
As part of the campaign, Lewisham Council has teamed up with HSS Hire Shop located at 295 Lewisham High Street to offer discounts on new ladders that comply with health and safety regulations.
If a new ladder is purchased from the HSS Hire Shop, they will also dispose of an old one for free.
Lewisham inspectors will be visiting local businesses across the borough until the end of August. They are offering advice and information on how to prevent accidents and what precautionary measures can be taken.
