An invitation to watch a show through the teats of an astonishingly long pig which snores, winks and breathes is being extended to the borough’s children from Lewisham’s Art service.
The PIG will be at Manor House Gardens on 29 July and there will be short ten minute shows inside the pig suitable for adults and children over the age of five.
PIG (presented by Whalley Range All Stars) is part of a season of outdoor theatre for children in Lewisham Parks. This years programme of theatres in the parks comprises of six shows in three parks and a total of 32 performances. Other park shows include:
- 05.08.06: The Pied Piper presented by Open wide Theatre at Telegraph Hill Park (Kitto Road / Erlanger Road), suitable for 3–11 yrs.
- 08.08.06: Strawberry, starring Fraser Hooper at Manor House Gardens, Old Road, SE13
- 18/19.08.06: Storm in a Teacup presented in the PPod – a theatre inside a small tent by Horse and Bamboo at Sydenham Wells Park, Wells Park Road, Sydenham SE26. Suitable for children over 3 yrs.
- 18.08.06: Early one morning on presented by Horse and Bamboo in the PPod – a theatre inside a small tent at Sydenham Wells Park, Wells Park Road, Sydenham SE26. Suitable for children over 5 yrs.
