Dealing with anti-social behaviour in Lewisham

The Safer Lewisham Partnership Bus will be visiting Sainsbury’s in New Cross to help Lewisham residents find ways of resolving anti-social behaviour.

The bus will be there on Saturday 14 February 2009 between 11am-3pm.

Experts from Lewisham Council and the local police will be on board the bus to offer information and advice about how best to resolve everyday community concerns and anti-social behaviour.

Disputes between neighbours, for example, can be resolved by bringing together all the parties involved and encouraging them to talk about the issues. This type of approach can be an effective way of reducing anti-social behaviour and public nuisances amongst local communities.

To get involved in this community-based project or for more information please contact either Lorna Cousins on 020 8314 8807 or Monica Paladin on 020 8314 9740.
