Transport for London (TfL) are to carry out major overnight resurfacing works on the south circular between Blythe Vale and Catford Bridge, taking in the mini gyratory outside St Dunstan's College.
The highway layout here means that major disruption to traffic flows are inevitable in this area. You should find an alternative route if possible, to avoid delays to your journey.
Contractors will begin at 8pm on the 15 January at the junction with Stanstead Road and Blythe Vale and will work towards Catford.
Works will be carried out mainly between 8pm and 5am Monday to Saturday over the following 3 weeks although some minor works will be carried out during off peak hours during the day.
There will be various side road closures in order to facilitate safe working and minimise delays to traffic on the road network. All parking within the works area will be suspended until the works are complete.
Where side roads cannot be closed access will be maintained and marshalled. At certain times during the works bus stops will have to be suspended but they will be replaced with nearby temporary stops.
