The aims of the traffic scheme at Grove Park are:
- to make bus services more reliable by allowing southbound buses exiting the bus terminus to enter the queue to the lights at Chinbrook Road ahead of other traffic
- to provide additional pedestrian crossing facilities at the Chinbrook Road junction.
The scheme has been designed and is being funded by Transport for London.
Unfortunately there have been delays in completing the works. This has been due to unforeseen difficulties installing the new cabling for the traffic lights.
However, these difficulties are being resolved and works are now expected to be complete in mid-July.
