Independent research demonstrated that 84 per cent of readers use Lewisham Life as their main source of local information, compared with the News Shopper at 54 per cent and Mercury at 34 per cent. It is also a better source of local information than radio or the internet.

Lewisham Life has the highest distribution of any Lewisham-wide magazine or newspaper. It is distributed
to 116,000 homes and businesses in the borough (audited by GfK NOP and Adept Marketing Group 2006-07).

It is also distributed from six mainline stations, the major civic buildings, libraries, leisure centres, housing offices, doctors’ and dentists’ surgeries, Goldsmiths and Lewisham Shopping Centre.

Now published ten times a year, the magazine provides local news, lifestyle features and information on upcoming Lewisham events.

Space in the magazine fills up very quickly. If there is no advertising space available in the issue of your choice, it may be possible to buy an extra 4-page insert stitched into the middle of the magazine. You can also insert a loose leaflet.

If you are supplying your advert on a disk or by email, please provide it as a print-quality pdf, accompanied by a colour printout.

Pre-printed loose inserts supplied by you can be inserted into the magazine, subject to approval. Price on application.

Note that it is generally more cost effective to place an advert if you are planning to target the whole borough.
