Malory Sports Hall / Knights Academy
 the decision on the incorporation or otherwise of existing sports facilities at Malory School in the design and build of Haberdashers’ Aske’s Knights Academy was not made by Lewisham Council
- the new facilities at the school will be better than those previously provided on the site.
The borough has attracted unprecedented funding under the Government’s commitment to transform secondary schools.
As part of this programme, the new Haberdashers’ Aske’s Knights Academy will give children and young people the opportunity to learn in a modern and accessible environment. It is proving a popular school with parents and pupils.
In order to obtain good value for money the academy sponsors decided to rebuild the existing sports provision in a new facility. This will give children, young people and the local community access to a brand new 21st Century sports facility that is DDA compliant.
The provisional cost of the new school is expected to be in the region of £25m.
