Convoys Wharf
At Convoys Wharf in Deptford, there is a major opportunity to regenerate part of the Borough to provide new jobs, homes and a better environment.
Lewisham Town Centre
Urban Renaissance Lewisham, a regeneration partnership led by Lewisham Council, has initiated a project to redevelop Lewisham Town Centre. The project is called the Lewisham Gateway Development.
Bell Green gasworks
The redevelopment of the former Bell Green gas works site in Lower Sydenham provides an opportunity to promote new homes as well as business and employment within Lewisham.
Leisure and health
Wavelengths leisure centre and library
Work started in March 2007 to provide a new 25m six lane pool in addition to the current provision.

Bellingham Youth and Community Gateway Building
The centre provides a wealth of healthy lifestyle opportunities for all ages in the heart of Bellingham. It has been developed by the Council in association with Sport England, the Bellingham Community project and SureStart Bellingham.

The Moonshot centre provides the African Caribbean communities of New Cross with an arts centre for dance, drama, art and community activities.

Housing
Decent Homes in Lewisham
Through consultation a solution to meet Decent Homes standard for the whole borough has been developed using all three options available including Arms Length Management Association (ALMO), Housing Private Finance Initiative (PFI) and Stock Transfer.
Children and education
Building schools for the Future
Building Schools for the Future (BSF) is the single largest investment programme in education for over 50 years and aims to transform schools and secondary education. Lewisham has been awarded £186m and is carrying out the one of the most ambitious programmes in the country.
Lewisham Children and Young People's Centre
Unique in providing a comprehensive range of integrated services, the centre is set to open in Catford in the summer of 2006.
Granville Park Adult Education Centre
The borough’s first purpose built adult learning centre opened to students in April 2006. In the heart of Lewisham, the centre is a light, contemporary building designed with learners in mind.
Transport facilities
Deptford Station
£25m investment is being invested in a replacement Deptford station to provide a safer, accessible and more welcoming environment, with new shops, a public piazza and providing much needed housing.
