Fireworks 2008

Free fireworks extravaganza on Blackheath

fireworks exploding in the night skySaturday 8 November at 8pm

The Blackheath display is one of the most anticipated London fireworks displays each year, bringing colour and light to the skies of Lewisham and Greenwich with a truly dazzling display.

Lewisham and Greenwich Councils are pleased to be working with Festival Fireworks UK Ltd a British family run fireworks manufacturer, importer and event company with 60 years experience. They have a vast array of fireworks planned for us and are promising elegance, intensity and a dazzling range of colours and effects set perfectly to music.

Both councils would also like to thank GLC Ltd for their support of this event year on year.

This year this hugely popular annual display is promising to be bigger and better than ever. Food and drink will be available throughout the evening and you can make the most of a complete night out with family and friends.

Please be aware that it is illegal to bring fireworks onto the Heath so please leave your own fireworks and sparklers at home and enjoy the spectacular display safely.
