Lewisham Council is developing plans for a new leisure centre to replace Forest Hill Pools as part of its commitment to improving leisure facilities in the borough.
The design team is progressing the plans for the redevelopment of the pools on its existing site that includes the integration of its Victorian frontage building.
The team is being lead by the architects Roberts Limbrick Ltd and includes WYG Ltd as the structural engineer and Building Services Partnership as the building services engineer. A planning application will be submitted by May 2010.
In July 2009 the Mayor of Lewisham decided that work should start immediately for the pools to be redeveloped on its existing site. The Council aims to re-open the new facility in late 2012.

Louise House refurbishment
Members of the public and community groups have been invited to submit detailed proposals for the refurbishment of Louise House, Forest Hill, the Grade II listed building which sits next to the Forest Hill Pools site.
