Leisure can cost less
The Lewisham Plus Card gives you access to leisure throughout Lewisham – for only £2 a year.
You can enjoy 25% off the full adult price of a range of activities in Lewisham Council-run leisure centres, parks or facilities.
Who is eligible
You can apply for a Lewisham Plus Card if you are aged 16 or over and live or study in the the London Borough of Lewisham and receive:
- benefits as a disabled person
- a freedom pass
- council tax credit
- family tax credit
- housing benefit
- income support
- rent allowance
- disability living allowance
- jobseeker's allowance.
Also:
- If you care for someone who has a disability concession, Lewisham Plus Card or a child with a disability, you can accompany them into the facilities for the same discounted price with the carer's card. Ask at the reception of the leisure centre or library you are visiting for more details.
- If you are over 60, we need to see either your state retirement pension, your full UK driving licence or your passport.
- If you are an asylum seeker, we need to see your ID card.
- Students must provide their student ID card.
How to access the service
You can apply for a Lewisham Plus Card at any council-run leisure centre or library in the borough. The cost is £2 for one year and you will need to provide a passport size photo as well as proof of your eligibility. Application forms can also be downloaded from this page.

Formats are available in large print, Braille and Audio and in a variety of languages (see reverse of form).
What happens next
When you complete your application form you need to take it to your local leisure centre or library to be processed. You will be given a proof of purchase so you can start using services straightaway. Your official card will then be sent to wherever you applied within four weeks.
