The park is a fantastic local resource that everyone should be able to enjoy. We're keen to ensure this is the case and so we need help considering if there is a way of improving the space while achieving a balance for different park users.
In particular, we are looking at three parts of the park.
1 Golf
Would you prefer a small nine hole golf course to free more park for other activities or would you prefer to retain an 18 hole course?
2 Mansion House
We don't have enough money to restore and maintain these historic buildings. Do you think we should consider selling or leasing the Grade II* listed building and a small area of land so we can ensure the building is preserved?
3 Disused Homesteads buildings
Would you like to see the stable block and outbuildings made into a focal point for golfers and other park users? Should new wings be made to accommodate cafe and bar facilities, meeting rooms, changing rooms, a golf shop and a new visitors centre? Would the Homesteads' courtyard benefit from trees and a children's play area?
