Fitness in parks

There are plenty ways of keeping fit in the open air. Here are a few to get you started.

Military fitness
Keep fit the army way.
  • Blackheath - five days a week. More info (external site)
  • Mayow Park boot camp - Wednesdays, 6 - 7pm
     
Power Pramming/Pushy Mothers
Don’t let your children hold you back - get fit with your kids on weekday mornings:
  • Ladywell Fields - Tues, 10.30 - 11.30am
  • Manor House Gardens - Wed, 11am - 12noon
  • Hilly Fields - Thurs, 11am - 12noon
     
Tennis coaching
  • Ladywell Fields - Saturdays, 10am-11am (11-13 year olds) and 11am-12noon (14 years and over)
  • Manor House Gardens - Saturdays, 9am - 12noon
  • Telegraph Hill - Saturdays, 1.30pm - 5.30pm
     
Healthy walks
Free weekly walking groups, led by trained walk leaders, take place each week across the borough. Just turn up at the walk or contact the walk leader beforehand. Find times and areas
 
Nature's gym conservation events
Improve your fitness by taking part in conservation activities in nature reserves and parks in Lewisham. It's free, fun and no experience is needed!
