Regulations for producers
Producers come from Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London as well as other Home Counties from time to time they are within a 100 miles radius, and a majority come from within 50 miles or less.
Most farmers' markets have had to diversify and allow secondary producers such as bakers, jam and preserve makers, smokers and cheese makers. The market allows most fine foods that have been processed by the person who is selling them, for instance, olives that have been marinaded in freshly made sauces using local ingredients will qualify. All secondary producers are vetted very closely.
As well as food produce there are local arts and crafts persons attending most months.
