Twelve free public terminals managed via computerised booking system with access to the internet, MS Office software installed and subscriptions to several electronic information resources (notably Credo Reference).
Small ICT suite also hosts tutored ICT courses including family learning sessions. PC with educational CD-Roms in children's library.
Activities and reading promotions
Year round – including weekly under-fives storytimes, monthly adult reading group and monthly session for over 55s.
Facilities available
The library now has a lounge area with sofas and easy chairs, vending machines, three 52" plasma screens, an X Box and Playstation 3, DVDs, self issue machines, a buggy park and wheelchair park, lots of great new stock and improved IT facilities.
