Lewisham's libraries

There are 12 library buildings in the borough of Lewisham providing 14 service points, plus a Home Library Service and a busy Mobile Library. There is Lewisham library open every day of the week. All offer a wide selection of services.

These include lending books for adults, young people and children, large print and talking books, cassettes, CDs, DVDs, videos, CD-ROMs and PlayStation software, study areas and homework material plus photocopying facilities.

There is free internet access in each library where users can browse the web, send emails, transact electronic business and use the 15 special web based services bought in by the library service for you.

You can do a lot at your local library - join one of our reading groups, sing along at baby bounce, find out about your area's history at a local author talk. Use the links on the left to find out about your local library.
