Cinema in Lewisham is thriving at an impressive array of venues and in collaboration with the dedicated Lewisham Film Initiative.
The latest art house releases can be seen at the Broadway Theatre, Catford, in glorious Art Deco surroundings.
Café Crema in New Cross screens modern classics and family films in their bohemian beer garden during the summer months, alongside locally made short films and themed ‘film and live music’ evenings year round.
Film Clubs are also running around the Borough.
Peppered throughout the borough and throughout the year are one-off screenings and festivals making use of our portable projection equipment kindly provided by Film London. So look out for National Children’s Film Week, Black History Month, Made in Deptford and Deptford Design Festivals and Brockley Max amongst many others for unique and stylish cinematic adventures!
