This free service provides small repairs and adaptations to the homes of older, disabled and vulnerable Lewisham residents.

Private sector renewal unit
Deals with a range of issues including disrepair and regulating and enforcing the standards for houses in multiple occupation. It also awards grants to private sector landlords, owner-occupiers and tenants.
Property initiatives unit
A range of schemes, including an empty homes service that aims to return derelict and abandoned properties to profitable use.
Housing rights team
Advises all private sector tenants in the borough on issues such as homelessness prevention and rent increases, and can help to recover deposits, resolve disputes and deal with allegations of harassment and illegal eviction. |
