The Single Homeless Intervention and Prevention service(SHIP) is a housing options centre for single people in Lewisham. This means it is a service for single people who are homeless or are worried they might become homeless.
SHIP will give you advice, help and support if you are homeless or are worried you might become homeless.
Who does SHIP help?
- Young people at risk or leaving care
- Rough sleepers
- Vulnerable offenders
- Refugees
- Victims of domestic violence
- People who are dependent on drugs or alcohol
- People with:
- mental health difficulties
- mild learning disabilities
- HIV or Aids
- a physical or sensory impairment
How to access the service
You can approach the service directly, or be referred to us by a statutory or voluntary agency. We will assess your situiation and refer you to the housing service that best fits your needs.
